Parenting Your ADHD Child

Part 1

In the first series of The ADHD Academy's classes regarding parenting your ADHD child, Dr. Henry Svec (www.drsvec.com) discusses 5 initial key points every parent should know when it comes to their ADHD child.

This class consists of the following topics:

1. Why you can't diagnose ADHD in a 5 minute visit

2. Creating home structure and routines for success

3. A new revolutionary strategy to combat ADHD

4. Creating an environment of discipline in the home

5. Building positive self-esteem

Each Module consists of information via video and/or handouts followed by a short quiz.

Throughout this Class you are encouraged to keep notes regarding the material.

About the Course Creator:

DR. HENRY SVEC is a registered psychologist in the Province of Ontario, and licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and his B.A., B. Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario where he played football for four years and won two National Championships.  Dr. Henry Svec has spent the past twenty years helping children and adults with ADHD achieve success by developing tools and strategies to overcome associated obstacles.
