2)Understand the life events, conditions and medical issues that may make a child appear to have ADHD when they do not;

 

3)Understand the role of the teacher in data collection procedures to help contribute to the comprehensive assessment of a child;

 

4)Be able to monitor and report the effectiveness of various ADHD treatments on child behaviour and learning;

 

5)Establish the right routines in the day care setting to enhance child performance and success;

 

6)Strategies when working with parents of ADHD children. Understanding Behavior Therapy.


DR. HENRY SVEC is a registered psychologist in the Province of Ontario, and licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and his B.A., B. Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario where he played football for four years and won two National Championships.  Dr. Henry Svec has spent the past twenty years helping children and adults with ADHD achieve success by developing tools and strategies to overcome associated obstacles.


Certification is defined as verification that the basic knowledge regarding the condition of ADHD has been provided to the learner and that a successful understanding of 90% of that information has been achieved.  The ADHD Academy warrants that the individual taking this class has participated in the learning of the online information as presented, verified only by the participants’ acknowledgement of such.
